LivingWord Chat exists to extend the reach of local churches beyond their walls. We believe that every person who visits a church website deserves to have their questions about faith answered with compassion, clarity, and biblical truth — even at 2 AM on a Tuesday.

Our AI chat assistant acts as a virtual volunteer, ready to engage visitors in meaningful conversations, share the Gospel, and connect them with your organization. Each chatbot is configured with your specific information — your beliefs, service times, helplines, campus details, and programs — so visitors get answers tailored to you, not generic responses. During onboarding, you choose from three chat modes: Full Counseling for Gospel-centered theological support, Info + Light Gospel for a gentler approach, or Info Only for purely practical answers.

LivingWord Chat is grounded in historic Christian orthodoxy. Our AI assistant is guided by:

Safety & Care

We take visitor safety seriously. LivingWord Chat includes built-in crisis detection that identifies visitors who may be experiencing suicidal thoughts or self-harm. When detected, the chat immediately provides:

• The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988)
• The Crisis Text Line (text HELLO to 741741)
• Encouragement to reach out to a trusted person
• Compassionate, hope-filled Scripture
