Common questions about the Christian faith, answered from Scripture.

How can I be saved?
Salvation comes by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Repent of your sins and trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God." — Ephesians 2:8 (ESV)
Is the Bible trustworthy?
The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. It is completely trustworthy and is the ultimate authority for faith and life.
"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness." — 2 Timothy 3:16 (ESV)
Why does God allow suffering?
While suffering entered the world through sin, God works all things for the good of those who love Him. He is sovereign over all circumstances and draws near to the brokenhearted.
"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." — Romans 8:28 (ESV)
How should I pray?
Prayer is speaking honestly with God. Jesus taught us to pray to the Father, acknowledging His holiness, submitting to His will, asking for daily needs, confessing sin, and seeking protection.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." — Philippians 4:6 (ESV)
What happens after death?
After death, believers are immediately with Christ in glory. At the final judgment, all will be raised — believers to eternal life and unbelievers to eternal judgment.
"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." — Philippians 1:21 (ESV)
Can I lose my salvation?
Those whom God has truly saved are kept by His power and will never be lost. Salvation is God's work from beginning to end.
"And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ." — Philippians 1:6 (ESV)
Why should I go to church?
God designed the church as the body of Christ where believers worship, grow, serve, and encourage one another. It is not optional for the Christian life.
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together." — Hebrews 10:24-25 (ESV)
What is the Trinity?
The Trinity is the biblical teaching that there is one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, yet there is only one God.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." — Matthew 28:19 (ESV)
